First, credit must be given to for his fantastic concerning this same subject over a year and a half ago. Given the map expansion and other map changes, this list is due for an update. What makes a 'best duchy'?.Number of counties/holdings (capital duchy bonus).Contains county with high number of holdings to select as a capital (capital county bonus).Number of coastal counties/holdings (ships, ports, trade posts)This ranking list focuses strictly on coastal duchies as they are superior given their ability to raise ships, build port buildings for extra income, and can have trade posts built in them by merchant republics for extra income. Australian geographic full year 2018 collection dates. You are correct about the two duchy limit. Your goal is to hold every country in your two duchies while staying within your demesne limit. Holding Flanders and Sicily would be difficult, but not unreasonable. You would have to prepare your rulers and spouses for high stewardship to increase your demesne limit.
With demesne limit technology maxed out as an emperor, you can expect a demesne limit of about 10 most of the time. The best combinations are going to be dependent upon the geographic region in which you're playing. You can likely hold a top-tier duchy and a lower-tier duchy from this list. Flanders and Thrace were my two duchies for my Norse world conquest. (I also held Venice as a bonus county.) Crimea and Cherson are a great duo. The two duchies make up the entire Kingdom of Taurica.
Chera Nadu and Konkana in India are another great duo. Baronies?Since you can benefit from capital boost and marshall/steward bonuses in you main county that is all that matters longterm. In my opinion when you reach the emperor stage the desmense fades in importance. You can have very successful games with a desmense limit of 6.
Crusader Kings 2 Ireland Duchies
3 or 4 of which can (and ideally will) be in a single county. Provence becomes a contender. If my desmense limit go to 7 or 8 there are usually some conquests I can hold temporarily:)In games where you get big, a diplo education has so many advantages that stewardship really becomes a secondary stat. I would rank the stats diplo intrigue military steward learning. One way I try to optimize is to have max castle holdings in the capital county and max cities everywhere else.
Only the really small duchies (e.g. Sjaelland) are too small - and for those you get the second duchy to fill:)And even if Flanders might technically be the 'best' those viking raids will make you reconsider the advantage of coastal holdings:).
Hello, just Downloaded and installed your mod, decided to tell you a number of things you should know now that you are working on Muslims:1- Banu Al-Abbas is wrong. Use either Al-e-Abbas (the dynasty of Abbas) or Bani Abbas (the sons of Abbas).2-Banu for persian dynasties is simply wrong. The correct form of the name of house tahirid for example, is either Taheriaan (a as u in run) or Al-e-Taher if you want it to be arabic. Though the first one is better. Notice the fact that it is Taher, not Tahir.3- I am no arabic language expert, but I think Al-E-Dysnatyname is better than banu. Banu is used for tribes in most cases.4-if you can, please change the name Shahdom. It is stupid.
It should be Padeshahi-e-X.other than that, your mod was very well done. I specially loved the flags and the new events and traits. Was the Hamed ghazali event yours too?I also have a suggestion. Make it so that family members who have low opinion with their wives will request a divorce at some point.thank you for your good mod, and if any of the things I said is wrong or any of my suggestions has already been implemented, I apologize.
I haven't played the mod thoroughly. After that I will write a review+1 vote.
Contents.Gameplay The game is a where the player controls a dynasty from 1066 to 1453, though the The Old Gods and Charlemagne allow for earlier start dates of 867 and 769, respectively. Through the strategic use of war, marriages and assassinations among many other things, the player works to achieve success for their dynasty. The game contains numerous historical figures such as, and, but allows for the player to choose less significant figures such as minor and, and creation of entirely new characters with the use of the 'Ruler Designer'.Success is defined solely by the player. The only in-game objective is to obtain as many prestige and piety points as possible in order to surpass the various historically relevant European in a prestige ranking (the three most prestigious ones being the, the and the dynasties). This adds an additional layer of strategy to, such that a player will attempt not only to form beneficial, but also to select marriage partners with strong traits to maximise the quality of and thus strengthen the dynasty.
This requires balancing sometimes conflicting interests. For example, while one possible marriage might allow some to be formed with another ruler, it may also require marrying a with some undesirable traits. Such a trade-off can occur in the reverse as well: one possible spouse could possess highly desirable traits but yield no new alliances for the player's dynasty. While the player can choose any noble with at least a in their possession to play as, there are some that are unplayable without the game.
